406 JOBS is a framework for evolving Montana's workforce system to ensure that every Montanan has a pathway to a career and a plan to achieve it. 406 JOBS is meant to guide industry-led efforts for workforce development and form the foundation of ongoing, robust stakeholder engagement around a set of common principles.
ABOUT SWIB
The State Workforce Innovation Board, part of the Montana Department of Labor and Industry, serves as the lead coordinating body for 406 JOBS. It acts as a facilitator — making the connections and pointing to the resources that will help local and regional industry-led workforce development efforts meet with success.
